Gratitude Saturday is a wonderful challenge from Judith that I am delighted to participate in. Here is my list for today
- I am so very thankful for this amazing planet on which we live. The life-giving warmth and light of the sun, the lush greenery that abounds, the arid deserts rife with often unseen life, ice, snow and vast natural resources that provide us with so much. How wonderful it is to take the stewardship of this living Earth lovingly, mindfully and seriously as our gift to protect and sustain.
- I am thankful for the many, many organizations that act on behalf of the Earth to continuously bring attention to the heartless, money mongers of corporate greed and attempt to slow down the ravages of industrial devastation on the natural resources upon which we all rely.
- I am thankful for the activists, the demonstrators, the tree-hugging, earth loving daredevils who physically place themselves in the headlines, chained or unchained to trees or equipment, on the front lines to stem the great grinding hordes of habitat destroyers that industry teems with.
Today’s “stone” is Day 19 frosty on the outside, hairy in here, live little bundles of panting, grumbling canines
