In eager anticipation of the upcoming ice-fishing season, Welcome to Fishing News and Blues: fishing adventures exposed, rehashed, bemoaned and celebrated. For the record, fishing is a relatively new hobby; I was introduced to fishing just three years ago by my husband who is in fact a lifelong avid fisherman.
What a great hobby it has become, one that provides us with many fine dining experiences right in our own home. Nothing could be better than hours of fresh clean mountain air followed by a sumptuous meal of fresh Rainbow Trout, Kokanee or even Ling Cod.
Right now we are staring into the anxious lull, a seemingly endless abyss, between enjoyable fishing seasons. The weather is too cold to troll along the lake and not cold enough to create a thick enough layer of ice over the lake upon which to safely ice-fish.
I hope you will join me on these fishing adventures and discussions with your own comments or insights into the fine art of fishing.
