“The first thing is to love your sport. Never do it to please someone else. It has to be yours.”
Running woman has run into yet another snag. There does not seem to be enough time and/or energy in a day to keep to the Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule.
There has been a sudden upsurge in the dog grooming appointments, probably due to this wonderful spring weather we have been having. By the time I dash about in the morning planting, watering, mowing, digging, treasure hunting (dog doo), freshening water buckets…my first groom dogs of the day arrive. Then after the bathing, drying and trimming process is done and I realize that I have missed eating lunch again, I am plainly dog tired.
Add to that the long weekend dog boarding activities which involved a non-stop series of barking, chewing all the wrong things and general chaos of nine extra dogs. And here I am again today…at 4:00pm finally having a salad for lunch as I squeeze in some blog time.
That is not to say that I did not run; I am just not sure what day I managed to do it last. All I am sure of was that it was not a Monday, Wednesday or Friday but some other “I’ll do it today instead to make up for it” day. Then it all got lost in the shuffle and I really do miss how good it makes me feel. I know it is Wednesday, but guess what, I still have one more dog to groom today…so…it’s not going to happen.
I am still on the 4 minutes walk, 4 minutes run interval training and that is likely where I will stay…once I get some form of less busy going on. For now I am off to groom an Airedale Terrier.
Today’s “stone” is Day 144 no time to run with all this running around
