Cherry Blossom Time

Cherry Blossom Time

I feel the balm of spring

Upon my up turned face

The songs of robins ring

All ‘round about the place.

Winter-kill’s dull drabness

Gives way to springy green

Hearts soon stir with gladness

Await a summer scene.

As cherry blossoms pink

Upon the cherry trees

The hummingbirds do think

Themselves lucky as bees.

To flit amongst the blooms

Sip, sipping all the way

Long gone the winter glooms

Bright cheery, cherry day.
