“The human spirit needs places where nature has not been rearranged by the hand of man.”
For these photos I donned my handy dandy snow-shoes and headed across the road to trek (read stumble and stagger) along the creek. The weather this winter has been up and down so the creek has not frozen over completely at any point…well maybe during that -30 degrees week. Anyway we have some iced over and some free flowing sections. The snow has been off and on too…in fact we had more snow this past week than all the rest of winter. Here we go…
The deer were curious about my crashing around through the underbrush…I most surely did not sneak up on them. I was surprised how close I was able to get before they decided to bounce away. Very awesome day in nature.
Today’s “stone” is Day 59 snow, ice, forest, deer, Mother Nature, perfection
