“Dreams are the touchstones of our character.”
-Henry David Thoreau-
Dream big, dream long and dream on. Our dreams are what carry us forward to accomplish the most amazing things in our lives. I dream of a world without war, without poverty, without violence, without starvation and without strife. That is a big dream…a very big dream. I do not expect to see that accomplished within my life span. But it is still my dream. I believe that my dream as such, at some point in the far, far, distant future history of man on earth, will become a reality. There are enough people in the world who share that same dream to carry the dream forward to infinity. So too shall the future rulers of all countries of the world come to realize that without a combined commitment to change the way industry and economics are managed, the Earth as we know it, will cease to exist. Another big, big dream is for the world to reach a balance of sustainability with the natural resources of the world. The government of Canada should be willing to commit to environmental restrictions to give the planet a chance to regenerate from the damage that the industrialized world has done. The government of Canada needs to develop a conscience and a sense of responsibility in how they manage the environment.
